WINTER DANCE
is a short poem dedicated to my brother, S. Gray Garwood, who died too soon in 1989; his significant contribution as a developmental scientist and educator have not diminished. And to my friend, artist, jazz singer, and teacher, Lennie Kesl, who lived a grand and generous life. Lennie died in 2012, unexpectedly, with his heart full of art.
Their belief in me steadies me still.
