The Process: How we get your book into the eyes of the world:

Once we have your file documents, we’ll begin a dialogue as to what you’d like.

Is your book already edited and ready to go? Once it is–and we can help you there– we’ll send you a PDF draft of the interior content for you to proof. We’ll send you a cover PDF with a variety of samples from which you can choose your favorite. Once you greenlight both interior and cover, the files will be converted for printing.

We can prepare your files for offset printing and send them to the printer of your choice. A number of our book projects have been printed in Thailand where I keep residence then shipped to a specific location.

Today, we work closely with several US POD publication providers. What is POD? Print-On-Demand is an efficient and inexpensive way to get your book quickly listed, and into global distribution with Amazon.com, Barns & Noble, Powell’s Books, etc.

“Galen Garwood of Marrowstone Press was the designer of both my two books about Myanmar; I cannot recommend him highly enough.  
For my memoir, Two eggs and a Lemon, he not only did the typeset and layout but also produced some lovely outline sketches pared down from some of my photos to grace the start of each chapter.  He chose another photo as the cover which worked perfectly and used a dark green background which looked very smart. For a more challenging piece of work, I asked him to design my coffee-table photo book Portraits of Myanmar.  For this, he worked with me to choose the best photos and then made further adjustments on each one to ensure the best possible reproduction.  He proposed how the book should be structured, designed the whole graphic ‘look’ using different colors for different pages, which fonts, even helped with some of the short intro texts for each section. DON LINDER is an international award-winning fiction, film, and travel writer and editor. A native of NYC, Don has lived in Thailand for the past 20 years. As the former Programs Director for Poets & Writers, Literature Program Director for the North Carolina Arts Council, and Administrator of the Creative Writing Program at State University of New York-Binghamton, Don has worked with a wide variety of writers. TIM DAVIES/Chiang Mai Webservices are experts in all aspects of ‘design and build’ websites. Although the team can develop fully custom-coded sites, our specialty is WordPress and in particular the Avada theme. We also offer our own fully managed hosting service using dedicated machines running the latest Litespeed and LS cache systems located in the US. We use Cloudflare CDN serving websites from a cloud of servers distributed all around the globe. We especially like to work closely with people empowering them to make the most of their opportunities on the WWW.
